1 Enterra Solutions Contact: Laura Hermann 202-466-7391, x113 lhermann@pcgpr.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Enterra Solutions CEO Joins U.S. Chamber of Commerce as Co-Chair of Effort in Iraq RESTON, Va. (June 23, 2008) – Stephen F. DeAngelis, president and CEO of Enterra Solutions, LLC, recently joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Iraq Initiative as co-chair, adding to his service as co- chair of the Chamber’s Kurdistan Region of Iraq Investment Taskforce. The Iraq Initiative was established to facilitate meaningful access to key Iraqi and U.S. decision makers. It aims to shape the long-term investment climate in Iraq through meaningful networking opportunities, business delegations and policy forums. In addition, the initiative aims to increase commercial engagement between American businesses and their Iraqi counterparts. “The Chamber’s goals are a natural fit with Enterra Solutions’ Development-in-a-Box™ activities in Iraq,” said DeAngelis. “I’m delighted to be part of this effort and look forward to working with the Chamber to create investment and joint venture engagements between U.S. and Iraqi businesses. We at Enterra believe, as does the Chamber, that these repeatable-investment and joint-venture transactions will be both profitable for U.S. and Iraqi companies and at the same time will be instrumental in building state-of-the-art capacity and generating jobs in Iraq.” The Chamber’s efforts in Iraq are aimed at supporting the advances in the Iraqi economy that have taken place since 2003. The Chamber believes it is critical to build on this momentum by creating access to business opportunities and establishing relationships with key decision makers. This relationship-building and cultivation of credible investment opportunities is vital to fostering a more stable environment for business in Iraq. Enterra Solutions is working with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to establish a Kurdistan Business Center that will provide a single point of contact for investors and businesses desiring to operate in the autonomous Kurdistan region. The Center will identify international companies in order to facilitate and expedite investment and joint-venture transactions in the Kurdistan Region, especially agreements in support of a number of strategic critical infrastructure projects identified by the KRG. In addition, the Center’s Erbil-based staff will provide marketing, technical expertise and ombudsman services aimed at attracting investment activities in the region. “Enterra Solutions’ Kurdistan Business Center, and its creation of a repeatable process and infrastructure to enable foreign direct investment and joint venture transactions will be of great value to our Initiative Members,” said Aram Zamgochian, the Chamber’s Project Director for Middle East and Africa Affairs. “I look forward to highlighting this innovative and much-needed investment promotion vehicle in a strategically vital part of the world—Iraq.” As part of the Iraq Initiative, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will deliver targeted advocacy on behalf of American business. The Chamber hopes to help more U.S. businesses establish a presence in Iraq.
